let assume distance between A&B is 150 km

total distance covered = 150+150 =300 km

time taken a to b = 150/30 = 5 hr

time taken b to a = 150/50 = 3 hr

total time = 5 + 3 = 8 hrs

average speed = 300/8 = 37.5 km/hr
