A car travels from stop a to stop b with speed of 30 km/h and then return back to a with a speed of 50 kmph . find displacement, distance, average speed of the car

Hey ya!

(1) Displacement is ZERO!!

Because The care travelled from a to b and returned back the same distance. we know that Displacement in a closed path is ZERO.


( 2 ) Distance = 2 ab


( 3 ) Average Speed = v1 + v2 / 2

= 30+50/2

= 40 Kmph.
