A car travels half of a circle of radius r along the circular path. What is the ratio of distance travelled by it to its displacement?

In a half revolution,the distance travelled by car=Circumference/2=

2πr/2=πr
Displacement= shortest distance between initial and final position=diameter of circular path=2r
therefore,
Displacement/DISTANCE=
πr/2r=π/2
