Answer : (2) 48 km/h ✔️

Solution :

Given that :

A car travels half of the distance with constant velocity 40 km/h and another half with a constant velocity 60 km/h

As we know that :

Average Velocity = 2xy / (x + y)

Where, x = 40 km/h and y = 60 km/h

Average Velocity = (2 × 40 × 60) / (40 + 60)

=> Average Velocity = 4800 / 100 = 48

So, Average Velocity will be 48 km/h

I hope it will be helpful for you ☺️
