Step-by-step explanation:

Distance travelled with 57km/h speed = 19 km.

Time taken = 19/57 = 1/3 hr.

Distance travelled with 110 km/h speed = 55 km

Time taken = 55/110 = 1/2 hr.

Total distance travelled = 19 + 55 = 74 km.

Total time taken = 1/3 + 1/2 = 5/6 hr.

Average speed = 74 /(5/6) = 74 * 6 /5 =88.8 km/hr.

Answer:

At 57km/h, to drive 19km takes 19/57 = 1/3 hour (or 20 minutes).

At 110km/h, to drive 55km takes 55/110 = 1/2 hour (or 30 minutes).

Since it takes 5/6 hour (or 50 minutes) to drive the 19+55 = 74 km,

the average speed is: 74 / (5/6) = 74 * (6/5) = 88.8 km /h.

Alternatively: 74 km / 50 minutes = 1.48 km/minute

= 1.48 km/minute * 60 minutes/ 1 hour = 1.48 * 60 km/h = 88.8 km /h

Hence the answer is 88.8 km/h
