We can use PV = nRT to solve this equation,

Since in this system (Inflated Tyre) n, R and V is constant,

Then we write,

P/T = (nR/V)

P/T = Constant

We can apply P/T for the two given situations

P1 / T1 = P2 / T2

Here we can not substitute the temperature values in Celsius. We have to convert them into Kelvin,

Conversion is,

k = 273 + c

3 / (273+17) = P2 / (273+47)

3/290 = P2 / 320

P2 = 3 x 320 / 290

    = 3.31 atm
