A car uses or feeds on fuel, can move from place to place, and it gives out or excretes smoke, but it isn’t considered as a living thing.

The reason being is it is created not born. Secondly it can only perform a specific task and that too moving from one place to another. Third thing is that it does not have any feeling, expression etc. Last but not the least it does not have brain and is a machine.
