2)rate of change of linear momentum of the car

1. (i) initial momentum = mv
= 30×600
=18000kgm/sec.

(ii) final momentum = mv
= 600×0
=0

2. change in momentum = m(v-u)/t
= 18000/20
= 900

3. accelearation = v-u/t
= 30/20
=1.5
