A carbon compound 'P' on heating with excess concentration, H2S o4 forms another carbon compound 'Q' which on addition of hydrogen in the presence of Nickel catalyst forms are saturated carbon compound 'R'. one molecule of 'R' on combustion forms two molecules of carbon dioxide and three molecules of water. identify P ,Qand R and write chemical equations for the reactions involved.

Hey mate..
=========
1.
Dehydration reaction:
C2H5OH. -----> CH2=CH2 + H2O
Compound P is Ethanol but Compound Q is Ethene.
2.
CH2=CH2 + H2 ---> C2H6
Compound R is Ethane
3.
C2H6 + O2. ----->2 CO2 + 3H2O + heat + light energy
