Total number of cards = 52

Total outcomes = ? (One card is picked at random!)

Total outcomes = Total Kings + Total Ace

Total Kings = 4 (King of Heart,King of Spade, King of Diamonds, King of Club)

Total Ace = 4  (Ace of Heart,Ace of Spade, Ace of Diamonds, Ace of Club)

Therefore, total outcomes = 4+4 = 8.

Therefore, Probability that the card drawn is a king and an ace = \bold{\frac{Total\:Outcomes}{Total\:Number\:of\:Cards}}

P(E)= \bold{\frac{8}{52}}

P(E)= \bold{\frac{4}{26}}

P(E)= \bold{\frac{2}{13}}

Thanks!
