Difference between 'mounted by' and 'mounted on'.

mounted by means that the object is placed over any object an mounted on mean that it is placed over any thing

"Mounted by" means that something has mounted the object.

Example: The TV was mounted by the TV mechanic.

"Mounted on" means that the object has been mounted on something.

Example: The TV has been mounted on the wall.
