total cards = 52

  1. red cards (including queen) = 26

queens (excluding red queens because they are already added in red cards) = 2

total = 28

remaining = 24

probability of getting neither a red card nor a queen = 24/52

                                                                                        = 6/13

2. face card (including 3 spade face cards)  = 12

spade card = 10

probability of getting a face card or spade card = 22/52

                                                                               = 11/26

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Total Number of possible outcomes = 52

Let E be the event of getting neither a red card nor a queen

Therefore Number of favorable outcomes  = 52 - 28 = 24

P (getting neither a red card nor a queen) = P(E)

= 24/52 = 6/13.
