Answer:

The size of the cube so formed is 8 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : A cardboard of size 16cm× 24cm has been completely used to form a cube.

To find : What will be the size of the cube so formed?

Solution :

Surface area of cardboard is

A = l * w

A= 16 * 24 '

A= 384  cm²

Now, Surface area won't change, when it will transform into a cube so,

Surface area of cube is

A=6a²

So,

6a² = 384

a² = 384/6

a² = 64

a = √64

a = 8

Therefore, The size of the cube so formed is 8 cm.
