A cardboard sheet is of rectangular shape with dimensions 42cm×36cm.From each one of its corner, a square of 6 cm is cut off. Find the volume of the box.​

= 8 cm.

Given that each one of its corners a square of side 8 cm is cut off. then the

           length l = 48 - (8+8) = 48 - 16 = 32m.

           breadth = 36 - (8+8) = 36 - 16 = 20m.

We know that Volume = l * b * h

                                      = 32 * 20 * 8

                                      = 5120 m^3.

BREADTH = 36-12

= 24 CM

HEIGHT = 6 CM
