Heya user !!!

Here's the answer you are looking for

The length of the carpet = 10m50cm = 1050cm

and it's breadth = 550cm

So perimeter = 2(1050 + 550)

= 2(1600)

=3200cm

= 32m

Therefore, 32m long tape is required to bound it's edges.

Cost of the tape required = ₹3×32 = ₹ 96

The carpet Is a rectangle.
Perimeter of a rectangle= 2×(l+b)
=2×(1050cm+550cm)
=2×1600
=3200cm
3200cm long tape is used.
Cost of tape per meter = Rs.3
Total cost of tape=
3200×3
= Rs.9600

Sreya2005: Sorry,
Sreya2005: 3200cm= 32m
Sreya2005: So 32×3=Rs.96
