ANSWER.

Length of carpet =20m

breadth of carpet = 15 m

area of this carpet = l×b

= 20×15

=300m

side of square =5m

area of square = 5×5

= 25m

number of pieces of carpet cut in shape of square
 =  \frac{area \: of \: carpet \: }{area \: ofsquare}

 \frac{300}{25} = 25

hence 25 pieces are cut in a shape of square .

☆ Here is your answer ☆

☆ GIVEN

☆ length of Carpet = 20m

☆ Breath of Carpet = 15m

☆ Area of Carpet = Length × Breath

= (20×15)m

= 300m^2

☆ Side of the square = 5m

☆ Area of square = Side × Side

= (5 × 5)m

= 25m^2

☆ Number of pieces of square = Area of Carpet / Area of square

= 300/25

= 12 pieces

☆ Hope that this helps you ☆
