The peak voltage of modulated wave should be equal to Am = 9 V to have the required condition.

- It is given that :

The peak voltage of carrier wave, Ac = 12 V

Modulation Index, μ = 75 % = 75 / 100 = 0.75

The peak voltage of modulated wave, Am = ?

- We know that :

μ = Am / Ac

⇒ Am = μ × Ac

⇒ Am = 0.75 × 12

⇒ Am = 9 V
