We have to find the current drawn from the cell.

Solution:

It is given that v = i

Resistance of the conductor,

$R=\frac{v}{i}$

$R= 1 ohm$

Thus total resistance of the current path is = $R+r= 1+0.5=1.5 ohm$

From ohm law, the current drawn from the cell is given by,

$i=\frac{emf}{total resistance}$

$i=\frac{1.5}{1.5}=1A$

Hence the current drawn from the cell is $1A$
