Given:
The emf of cell = 1.5 V

Internal resistance r = 0.5 ohm

current varies with voltage v2 = i

To Find:

We have to find the current drawn from the cell.

Solution:

It is given that v = i

Resistance of the conductor,

R=\frac{v}{i}

R= 1 ohm

Thus total resistance of the current path is = R+r= 1+0.5=1.5 ohm

From ohm law, the current drawn from the cell is given by,

i=\frac{emf}{total resistance}

i=\frac{1.5}{1.5}=1A

Hence the current drawn from the cell is 1A
