EXPLANATION.

emf of the cell is 2v.

Internal resistance is 0.1 Ω.

Resistor is 20Ω.

As we know that,

Formula of :

Current = (emf)/(Resistance + internal resistance).

⇒ i = E/(Req).

Req = Resistance + internal resistance.

⇒ Req = 20Ω + 0.1Ω.

⇒ Req = 20.1Ω.

⇒ E = 2 v.

⇒ i = 2/(20.1).

⇒ i = 0.099 A.

∴ The current in the circuit is i = 0.099 A.
