Answer:

As we know that,

potential difference across the terminal of the cell.V=E-Ir

Here,V=potential difference

E=EMF of the cell=2V

I=current in circuit

r=internal resistance=0.1ohm

R=20ohm

Since, Cell and external resistance are connected directly..

Req=R+r

Req=20+0.1=20.1ohm

Current in circuit,I=E/Req

I=2/20.1

I=0.09A

Explanation:

Hope it helps you......

Answer

Current , I = 0.099 Amperes

Formula Used

\bigstar \;\; \bf V=IR_{eq}

Solution

Voltage , V = 2 V

Internal resistance ,  r = 0.1 Ω

Resistance , R = 20 Ω

Current , I = ? A

Apply Ohm's law ,

\implies \rm V=IR_{eq}\\\\\implies \rm V=I(R+r)\\\\\implies \rm 2=I(20+0.1)\\\\\implies \rm 2=I(20.1)\\\\\implies \rm 2=20.1\times I\\\\\implies \rm I=0.099\ A
