SOLUTION :

Given :

Fixed Price of cellphone = ₹4500

GST additionally = 12%

GST on cellphone = 12% of 4500

= 12% of ₹4500

= 12/100 × 4500

= ₹12×45

= ₹ 540

GST on cellphone = ₹540

Purchase price of the cellphone =fixed price + GST

= ₹4500 + ₹540 = ₹5040

Purchase price of the cellphone = ₹5040

Hence, the dealer Pay as GST ₹ 540 & the purchase price of cellphone is ₹5040
