Profit from 1 bag of white cement = + Rs 8

Loss from 1 bag of grey cement = - Rs 5

Find the loss made from the 6400 grey cement:

Loss from 1 bag of grey cement = Rs 5

Loss from 6400 bags of grey cement =  6400 x 5 = Rs 32000

Find the number of bags of white cement sold:

He did not make any profit or loss. Therefore he must have made Rs 32000 from the white cement to cover the loss of Rs 32000 from the grey cement.

1 bag of white cement = Rs 8

Numb of bags of white cement = 32000 ÷ 8 = 4000

Answer: He must have sold 4000 bags of white cement
