Answer:

profit on each bag of white cement= Rs 9

total no. of bags of white cement=7000 bags

total profit on white cement=Rs(7000*9)=Rs 63000

loss on each bag of grey cement=Rs5

total no. of bags of grey cement=6000

total loss on grey cement=Rs(5*6000)=Rs30000

now profit >loss...,so

profit=Rs(63000-30000)=Rs33000

now,if we want to have neither profit nor loss..when loss on grey cement is Rs5400,we must have a profit on white cement of Rs 5400

so let the no. of bags of white cement be x ,then

9x=5400

or x =5400/9

or x =600

so , no. of bags of white cement to be sold to have neither profit nor loss=600 bags
