Answer:

3000

Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN:

Profit on white cement bag =Rs.+9

Loss on grey cement bag =Rs.−5

Loss on 1 bag of grey cement =Rs.−5

Loss on 5400 bag of grey cement =(−5)×5400=Rs.−27000

SOLUTION:

Let the number of bags of white cement be x.

Profit on 1 bag of white cement =Rs.+9

Profit on x bags of white cement =Rs.+9x

Now, Total profit/loss =0

⇒ Total profit + Total loss =0

⇒9x+(−27000)=0

⇒9x=27000

⇒x=  27000/9

⇒x=3000

∴ Number of white bags sold =3000
