total money earned by company is
8x3000= 24000 [from white bag]
and lost 5x5000=2500[from grey bag]
so finally company lost Rs. 1000

ii). let n no the company will sell white bag so

8n = 6400x5

n = 4000

Solution :-

(1)

Profit earned on every white cement bag = Rs. 8
Total white cement bags sold in the month = 3000
Total profit earned on 3000 white cement bags = 3000*8
= Rs. 24000

Loss incurred on every grey cement bag = Rs. 5
Total grey cement bags sold in the month = 5000
Total loss incurred on 5000 grey cement bags = 5000*5
= Rs. 25000

Overall loss = 25000 - 24000
Loss = Rs. 1000

(2)

Number of grey cement bags sold = 6400
Loss on 6400 grey cement bags = 6400*5
Loss = Rs. 32000
Required number of white cement bags to be sold to have neither profit nor loss = 32000/8
= 4000 bags of white cement the company must sell to have neither profit nor loss.
