A certain amount is equally distributed among certain number of students. Each would get 2rupees if 10 students were more and each would get 6rupees if 15 students were less. Find the number of students and the amount distributed .​

Answer:

Assume A as the whole amount and B as the total number of Persons and C as the amount each person received.

A/B = C

A/ (B+10)= C - 2.

A / (B - 15) = C + 6.

Therefore , Solving this we can get the total amount (A) as 400 and the total number of persons (B) as 40.

Hence, among 40 students 400 rs. were distributed.
