A certain amount of money has divided among the person p and q in ratio 3;5, but it was divided in ratio of 2:3 and therby q loss rs. 10. what was the amount

Let the the money to be given to p be 3x
let the money to be given to q be 5x

But
money given to p =2x
and
money given to q =3x

Also given that
5x-3x=10
2x=10
x=5

therefore the amount=
3x+5x
8x=8*5=
40 Rs

Intially....Let the money in hand with p be 3x and that with q be 5x... Also let the total money be m. So 8x=m....(1). Now let the money with p be 2y and that with q be 3y.... So 5y= m....(2). By 1 and 2 ... 8x=5y....(3). A.T.P 5x-3y=10....(4) by solving 3 and 4 we get x=50 and y=80..... So total money = 400 .... XD
