a certain amount of money is given on SI. if the principle is increased by 20% then by how much percent the rate should be reduced so that SI becomes same.

SI incrby 20% amt=120

I20(100-R) /loo=100

100-R=100x100/120 = 83.33

R = 100-83.3=16.7%
