The male sperm posses XY chromosome, where as Egg (in female) posses XX chromosome, So during fertilisation female can give only X chromosome, whereas male can give either X or Y chromosome. Zygote either posses XX(female) or XY(male) chromosome. If a couple has only daughters this means that every time sperm possess only X chromosome of father fertilises the egg of female.

Answer: No.Every sperm contains either x chromosome or y chromosome.Every male has both x sperm and y sperm in more or less equal proportions
Explanation:
Sex in humans is determined by SRY gene present in the y chromosome (present in the sperm)
When the offspring receives this Y chromosome from father and X chromosome from mother, that offspring is said to have XY genotype and the sex of the offspring is male.
When the offspring receives X chromosome from father and another x chromosome from mother, then that offspring is said to have XX genotype and the sex of the offspring is female.
However the probability of the offspring being male or female is 50 % each.
In this case, the couple has four daughter (XX genotype). It does not mean that the husband did not produce any Y sperm, it simple means that by the matter of chance the X sperm had fertilized the egg (x chromosome)to produce a female offspring in all four pregnancies.
