A certain drug is claimed to be effective in curing cold. In an experiment on 164 persons with cold, half of them were given drug and other half of them were given sugar pills. The patient’s reaction with treatment was recorded (table). On the basis of this data, can it be concluded that there is significant difference in the effect of drug and that of sugar pills?

It can be used both for local effect as in allergy testing and typical local anesthesia, as well as systemic effects when the active substance diffuses through skin in a transdermal route. sublingual and buccal medication administration is a way of giving someone medicine orally (by mouth).

If we see the data here, Drug helped 52 people, while sugar pills only helped 44 people. It can be concluded that Drug is effective from this piece of data.

Moving next, It harmed 10 people, while sugar pills harmed 12 people. Again since it harmed lesser number of persons, it is more helpful. When we go into no effect column it is of no use, therefore, It can be concluded that There is a significant difference in the effect of drugs and sugar pills.
