18, 20, 17, 12, 19, 19, 15, 8, 14, 20, 17, 18 and 11

arranging in ascending order

8 , 11 , 12 , 14, 15 , 17 , 17 , 18 , 18 , 19 , 19 , 20 , 20

Median = 17 ( middle term is 7th )

Mode =there are 4 mode

17 ,18,19,20

Sum= 208

mean = 208/13 = 16

Firstly,

Mean = sum of all observations/ No. of observation

=18+20+17+12+19+19+15+8+14+20+17+18+11 = 208

Mean = 208/13 = 16;

To find median let's arrange the data in ascending order:

8,11,12,14,15,17,17,18,18,19,19,20,20

Median is 17(7th term)

And mode is defined as the entry that has occurred most number of times , but here four entries occurred 2 times( that is maximum). Therefore, they all are mode.

Mode = 17, 18 , 19, 20.
