A certain force applied to a body A gives it an acceleration of 10 ms-2.The same force applied to body B gives it an acceleration of 15 ms-2 . If the two bodies are joined together and the same force is applied to the combination ,the acceletation will be.

Answer:

a=6m/s^2

Explanation:

let the mass of body A be M1 and of body B be M2

F=M1.a

F= 10M1

similarly

F=M2.a1

F= 15M2

10M1= 15M2

M1=3/2M2

total mass of both bodies are combined = M1+M2= 3/2M2+M2

= 5/2M2

now same force is applied to this combined mass ,

we know F=15M2

also now for this duo-body system ,

F=(5/2)M2. a

15M2=(5/2)M2.a

a= 30/5

a=6m/s^2

I hope this helped . if yes, then please mark BRAINLIEST . it keeps me motivated to write more answers .

all the best for your future endeavours .
