During cellular respiration, carbon dioxide is released. This deoxygenated blood is transported to the heart through blood. The heart pumps the deoxygenated blood to alveoli through blood. The carbon dioxide is again released out of the body through nostrils. So, in this way oxygen and carbon dioxide is transported in human beings.
