hi all

Given temperature is 40° C

It is also given that the room temperature lowers at the rate of 5° C

After one hour the temperature becomes (40 – 5) = 35° C

After two hours the temperature becomes (35 – 5) = 30° C

Hence after 10 hours the temperature becomes (-10° C)

Step-by-step explanation:

Initial Temperature = 40° C

Rate of change in temperature = 5°C/hour

Time = 10 hours

So, in 10 hours the temperature would be decreased by 10*5 = 50°C.

So, Final Temperature = 40 - 50  =  - 10°C
