if the isotope has the charge -2 , it means that its number of electrons is higher than 2 compared to the number of protons. So the number of protons called also atomic number is 18-2=16=Z

the compound has 16 protons and 18 neutrons . Its mass is 16+18=34

it is the ions of S sulfur 34.
