The selling price of 1 article is Rs.45

Step-by-step explanation:

CP of 1 dozen article = 450

1 dozen = 12 articles

So, CP of 12 articles = 450

Profit % = 20%

SP = \frac{CP(100+P\%)}{100}\\SP=\frac{450(100+20)}{100}\\SP =540

So, Selling price of 12 articles = 540

Selling price of 1 article = \frac{540}{12}

SP of 1 article = 45

Hence The selling price of 1 article is Rs.45
