Hello Dear,

◆ Answer -

Principal = 10750 Rs

◆ Explaination -

Time period for 22080 Rs is calculated by -

Total = Principal (1 + interest rate × time)

37536 = 22080 (1 + 14/100 × t)

1 + 0.14×time = 37536 / 22080

0.14 × time = 1.7 - 1

Time = 0.7 / 0.14

Time = 5 years

Using same formula for unknown sum,

Total = Principal (1 + interest rate × time)

17200 = Principal (1 + 12/100 × 5)

Principal = 17200 / (1 + 0.6)

Principal = 10750 Rs

Therefore, unknown sum is 10750 Rs.

Thanks dear...
