a certain sum becomes rs 2400 in 10 years at rate of 2•/• per annum under simple intrest. find the sum

Answer:

simple interest= rs 2400

time= 10 yrs

rate=2%

sum=SI *100/t*r

=2400*100/10*2

=rs 12000

hence,the sum is rs 12000
