A certain sum lent out at simple interest amount to 1625 in 3 year and to 1875 in 5 year find the sum lent and the rate of simple interest

Hey.....!! here is ur answer..

Simple Interest = 1875 – 1625 = 250Rs.

And time = 5–3 = 2 years

Then Rate % = S.I.×100/Pxt

=> Rate % = (250×100)/(1625×2)

=> Rate % = 100/13 = 7.69%
