let the sum of money be x
amount =2x
simple interest =A-P
=2x-x
= x
time =8yrs
rate =si*100 /p*t
= x*100/x*8
= 12.5 %
p= x
a= 3x
si = A-P
= 3x -x
= 2x
rate = 12.5 %
t = si * 100/p*r
t = 2x*100/x*12.5
t= 16

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

let the sum of money be x

amount =2x

simple interest =A-P

=2x-x

= x

time =8yrs

rate =si*100 /p*t

= x*100/x*8

= 12.5 %

p= x

a= 3x

si = A-P

= 3x -x

= 2x

rate = 12.5 %

t = si * 100/p*r

t = 2x*100/x*12.5
