A certain sum of money doubles itself in 8 years.Ib how much time it becomes 4 times of itself at the same rate of simple interest?

Let assume sum =₹100

ATQ it doubles itself in 8 yr

So after 8 yr we get 200 as amount

And
Amount =principal + simple interest

SI=200-100
Then we get₹ 100 As simple interest in 8 yr

Now if it becomes 4 times
Then amount =₹400
Si=₹300

If we get ₹100 as SI in 8 yr then
We get 300 Si in

=8x3=24yr

well...I don't have a great knowledge about simple interest...but..I will try to anwer using my basic knowledge..
let the money be $1 (for really easy understanding)
in 8years =$2
in 8×3=24...the money will increase to 4times in 24 years...
