Money left = Rs. 3.50
Let the initial money be 'x'

$x - ( 26 \times 5.75 ) = 3.50 \\ => x - 149.50 = 3.50 \\ => x = 3.50 + 149.50 \\ \therefore x = 153$
So,initial amount of money= Rs. 153
