A certain volume of a gas is kept at 77°C. When temperature is decreased by 20°C the gas occupies a volume of 900ml. What was the initial volume of gas (Pressure constant)​

Initial temperature (T1) =77°c

Changing it in Kelvin =273.15+77=350.15 k

Final temperature (T2) = 20°c

Changing it in Kelvin =20+273.15=293.15

Final volume (V2) =900ml

As we know

Pv=mrt

P, m and r are constants

So

V1/T1 = V2/T2

V1=V2xT1/T2

V1=900x350.15/293.15

Initial volume(v1) =1074.99ml

Apporx =1075ml
