a charge is placed outside a hollow sphere.flux through sphere is 0 so according to gauss law Enet will also be equal to 0. but practically at any point on the surface field due to point charge cannot be 0. plz help me with this doubt asap.....

If a charge is placed outside the sphere then it does not mean that e net through the whole sphere is zero.. It can be. There can be E without flux as well as flux without E.
