total number be x
then
18 green peppers was 3/4 of total
then (3/4)*x=18
3x=18*4
x=24
total number is 24
what is remaining
it is 1/4
1-3/4=1/4
now, 1/4*24= red peppers
basically 6 red peppers
thank. u
hope this helps

Let's assume she brought x no. of green and red papers.
There fore the equation should look like this,
x×¾=18
=>x=18×4/3
=>x=24.
so she brought total 24 papers.
so no.of red papers= total no of green papers-no of green papers
= 24-18= 6.
Hope it helped you.
Have a nice day.
