A chef bought some green and red peppers. She bought 18 green peppers which was 3/4 the total number.
a. How many red peppers did she buy?
b. How many peppers did she buy altogether?
Give answers for both and show the work step by step.

a) green peppers = 3/4 red peppers
18=3/4R.P(red peppers)
R.P= 18*4/3
therefore Red peppers= 24

b)total peppers = green peppers+red peppers
=18+24=42 peppers....
