We and us again
with half of us
and half of that
with one more
would make hundred

How many birds were there ??

no of birds- X

We and us again=2X

with half of us= X/2

and half of that= X/4

SO

    2X + X/2 + X/4 + 1 = 100

    2X + 2X/4X + X/4 = 99

                       11X/4 .= 99

                                      99 x 4

                             X=  _______

                                         11

                            X = 36

so no of birds=36
