Answer -

writing skills. However, these points might help you elaborate:

- But the more stories she tells, the more frightened she becomes of the house.

- She starts believing her own tales.

- She imagines that the garden is full of floating ghosts, ready to pounce on passersby; she sees apparitions inside the house trying to scratch out her eyes; she even stops using the backyard where she feels she can hear ghosts' sighs of sorrow!

- She gets caught in the web of her own lies.

- The condition worsens to such a great extent that her parents have to consult a psychologist who counsels her for over two months.

- Finally, she is convinced that this was all a part of her own imagination.

- She vows never to scare others by telling lies as she realises when you dig a ditch for others, there is always a fear you may fall into it!
