speed = distance /time

distance = speet*time

              =335*2

               =670m

a child was 670m away from the spot where effigy burnt.

Explanation:

Speed of sound in air = 335 m/s

Time required to reach the sound = 2 sec

Distance of the source of sound = ?

∴ Speed = DistanceTime

∴ Distance = Speed x Time

= 335 x 2 sec

= 670 m

A child was 670 m away from the spot where effigy burnt.
