Area of sector ABDC = pie r^2/360 × 120

= pie r^2/3

= 22 × 21 × 21/ 3× 7

= 22 × 21 × 21/21

= 462

Area of ABC = 1/2 × 21 × 21 × sin120

= 1/2 × 21× 21 × sin(180-60)

= 1/2× 21× 21 × sin60

=1/2 × 21× 21 × √3/2

= 441√3/4

= 187.425

Are a of minor segment = 462 -187.425 = 274.575 cm^2
